Mainstream Diversity

Bid Support:

We have successfully worked with organisations by helping to write the content of their bid documentation proposal. As a result of a full appreciation of the issues we can help to craft the content and design of materials as well as fully prepare the bid team for structuring and presenting the formal presentation. This also includes tips and techniques when answering the bid panel questions which will examine the organisations approach and commitment to the diversity area.

Workforce data analysis:

We can collect and analyse the makeup of your workforce composition and offer tips and techniques to improve the Diversity of your workforce. Management reporting is critical to bid submissions and we can advise on the attraction and retention of a more diverse workforce to help enhance the reporting of data.

Policy development:

The awarding body will, as a minimum expect to see a suite of related polices that reflect both legal requirements and market best practice. As most tenders ask for a copy of related policies we can help to develop a suite of polices that are leading edge and satisfy all questions regarding policies. In addition many tenders ask suppliers what is being done to reflect diversity and inclusion through day to day procedures. This is a critical area and one in which we have worked with a number of key suppliers to make sure these are reflective of expectations at the awarding body.

Training and Development:

Raising awareness and changing attitudes are vital to effecting cultural change within organisations. Public Sector bodies will be keen to see your workforce being trained and educated in areas relating to Diversity and inclusion. We have a range of programmes designed to increase peoples understanding of the areas and we also provide certificates of learning which can be used as collateral when submitting bid documentation.

Mainstreaming Diversity:

Diversity should not be seen as a marginal HR issue but a mainstream business imperative which runs through the heart of the business. Public sector bodies will be keen to see evidence that Diversity is embedded in your organisation and not just flavour of the month. We have a range of programmes to make sure that Diversity is seen as “the way that we do things around here” and not just an add on. Interestingly enough many public sector contracts recently awarded have included an ongoing review clause with suppliers to ensure Diversity is embedded long term into the supplier organisation.
